OL Hunter Rayburn said he was blown away by the FSU visit on Thursday.

One day before Florida State's first June camp began, Florida State's football coaches hosted two key offensive line targets -- Adrian Medley and Hunter Rayburn. Both came away extremely impressed with the Seminoles and updated where things stand as they head into the heart of their recruitment.

OL Rayburn says FSU's coaches 'blew my mind' during visit

The visits are now starting to heat up for three-star offensive lineman Hunter Rayburn, and so is his recruitment.

Rayburn doesn't list a favorite school at this stage and doesn't have a timeline yet for a decision. Nevertheless, Florida State appears to have made a major impression.

"It went great, and it was certainly the longest I've ever been here," Rayburn said. "I really liked it. I liked it a lot. I got a chance to talk with every single coach. Every coach greeted me at the door, and that's never happened to me at any visit. They blew my mind in a way with the visit as a whole."

Rayburn last visited FSU for the spring game. And while he enjoyed watching that game and seeing the campus, this visit made a much bigger impact.

"Being around the coaches one-on-one was some of the biggest things, and getting to know them personally, knowing their philosophy on coaching, life," he said. "We talked about everything -- recruiting, academics, football. The people, vibe, family is something that really stood out a lot to me. I really liked it a lot."

The main coach Rayburn dealt with during the visit was offensive line coach Greg Frey, who is his main recruiter. Rayburn said he already had a very high opinion of Frey before the visit, and it grew even stronger Thursday.

"Oh, I like him a lot," the Pensacola, Fla., product said. "He's a funny guy. We connect pretty good, and this was really the first time where I've talked with him more than five minutes. We talked about his previous experiences, his style of play and who he is as a person. He's a guy I feel very comfortable with for sure."

Rayburn was impressed with FSU's campus and other aspects of the visit as well.

"I've never really seen the campus like this in such detail. The campus is so beautiful," he said. "This was a lot better than I even thought the visit would be. I had a really good time. This helps FSU a lot. It raises them a lot on my list."

After such a positive visit, Rayburn said he plans to return to see the Seminoles again next month.

"Yes, I'm probably coming for the big July event," he said. "I also think it's a place I will be taking an official visit to. The people, atmosphere really blew me away on this visit. It's a different feel to it. It's a feeling when you are here that's hard to explain."

The talented offensive lineman is just starting the official visit process. It begins this weekend with a trip to Texas A&M, and he will visit Mississippi State in a couple of weeks.

"I did grow up a fan of Florida. When it started, it was Florida or nothing," Rayburn explained. "But now I realize that there are other schools out there that fit me better or as good as Florida (and) that changes things."
