Rivals100 defensive back Jeremiah Criddell's first visit to Tallahassee was one he won't soon forget.
Criddell not only got an up-close look at Florida State's campus and football practice, but he picked up a scholarship offer from the Seminoles.
From the start of his visit until the end, Florida State left a major impression on the Rivals100 four-star cornerback.
"It was a really big-time offer," Criddell said. "I can't say enough about it. The whole coaching staff is doing a really good job here. There are going to be a lot of commitments and a lot of big-time players coming here. Coach Taggart had a great conversation with me. We talked about everything."
Landing a college offer is always exciting for high school players, but it is even more so when it comes from a school that seems like a good fit athletically and academically.
On Wednesday morning, Criddell got a chance to see how he might fit in with the 'Noles by watching FSU defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett and the Seminoles' defense up close.
