One of the reasons Florida State didn't make a major move for running backs during the most recent recruiting cycle was because the 2020 class is expected to be loaded with prospects at that position.

And one of the best running backs in the country -- certainly one that's high on Florida State's radar -- is Atlanta Carver's Jo'Quavious Marks, who made an unofficial visit to Tallahassee this past Friday.

Marks, who has been coveted by the Seminoles for quite some time, said he came away very impressed with the Seminoles' program -- both on and off the field.

"It was really good. Being at the academic center was very impressive," the four-star tailback said. "I got to see how they work with their athletes with internships, and the things you get out of your major. It impressed me a lot. I also really liked how I can fit into this offense."

When it comes to attracting players from the Atlanta area, recruiting coordinator David Kelly is always going to play a major role for the 'Noles. He once was a high school coach in the area and is very connected with other coaches, so he will definitely be a factor in Marks' recruitment.
