Welp, that didn't take long.

After losing one linebacker commitment on Monday, the Florida State Seminoles picked up another on Tuesday.

DeMarco Artis, a three-star outside linebacker/defensive end from Sanford (Fla.) Seminole, announced that he has decommitted from UCF and now is committed to Florida State.

Artis impressed FSU's coaches with his performance at a 7-on-7 tournament on the Seminoles' campus earlier this summer, and he finally received an offer from Jimbo Fisher last Wednesday. Artis told Warchant at the time that the FSU offer would 'complicate' things with his commitment to UCF.

Although Rivals lists the 6-foot-3, 220-pound Artis as a defensive end, he told Warchant that FSU has him penciled in as an outside linebacker at the next level.

Jacksonville linebacker Bradley Jennings Jr.'s decommitment pushed FSU down to 10 commits for the class of 2017, but the Seminoles now are back up to 11 with Artis. They expect to sign about 19 to 21 in this class.
