Florida State's November 10 road trip to Notre Dame will be one of the mostly highly anticipated games of the 2018 college football season, and it will be a tough ticket for even the highest levels of Seminole Boosters.

Due to very high demand from FSU fans and given the limit of 5,000 seats for the visiting team -- per the ACC's agreement with Notre Dame -- Seminole Boosters Inc. has announced tight restrictions on the number of tickets available for donors.

Here is the release issued Tuesday:

MESSAGE TO SEMINOLE BOOSTER MEMBERS

Notre Dame will provide Florida State with approximately 5,000 tickets for the much-anticipated 2018 game in South Bend, scheduled for November 10 at 7:30 pm. Florida State expects this allotment will fall short of demand.

Ticket requests for previous Florida State vs. Notre Dame games have historically exceeded the supply which also must accommodate the required institutional needs for road games. For games where demand for tickets exceeds supply, the Florida State Athletics Ticket Priority Policy sets limits on ticket quantities by donor level.

Historically, more than 80 percent of FSU’s donor base requests tickets for high-demand games. Given the tickets available for sale and the expected demand, the following request limits have been set:

Legacy Chiefs, Platinum Chiefs and the Top 150 Donors: 4 tickets

Golden Chiefs: 2 tickets.

Seminole Booster members at the Golden Chief membership level and above may place their Notre Dame ticket request beginning today by calling 850-644-1830 or by contacting your Ticket Service Representative directly.

While these are the most strict limits ever set for an FSU road game, the Seminoles expect to be able to fulfill donor requests for all other 2018 away games including Louisville, Miami and NC State.

"We recognize that the issue of tickets being in high demand at Notre Dame is not unique to Florida State and we have worked to secure as many tickets as possible. Despite our efforts, we still expect our demand from donors will exceed supply," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Stan Wilcox.

"We have never had a game where we had to set such restrictive limits," said Seminole Booster President and CEO Andy Miller. "Typically we’ve been able to provide our Golden Chiefs with at least four tickets and at least two tickets to our Silver Chiefs and Tomahawk level donors. This is a very unique situation, with the supply of tickets so limited."

The priority deadline, including Notre Dame ticket requests, is March 1st.

The ACC will release the full 2018 schedules for all teams in the coming weeks. In addition to the Notre Dame game on November 10, FSU will open the season at home against Virginia Tech on Monday, September 3rd, will host Samford on September 8th, Northern Illinois on September 22nd and University of Florida on November 24th.
