Florida State's surge in recruiting the state of Georgia continued on Sunday as the Seminoles landed a big-time commitment from Warner Robins offensive lineman Christian Armstrong.

The four-star lineman, who can play guard or tackle, was on Florida State's campus last week for the Seminoles' Lineman Camp.

Armstrong is FSU's 12th commitment for the class of 2018 and the third from the Peach State. The Seminoles also have four Georgia prospects committed for the Class of 2019.

Armstrong, who was a key target for FSU on the offensive line, said he had been leaning this way for awhile.

"At FSU, it just felt like home every time I was there from the get-go," he said. "I also know how I'm going to be used, and the system fits me perfect."

The final piece of the evaluation process for Armstrong seemed to be working with FSU OL coach Rick Trickett at the Seminoles' lineman camp last weekend.

"FSU was very excited when I told them," Armstrong said. "I felt very comfortable working with Coach Trickett, and it helped me even more with my technique. I just love everything about FSU."
