The Florida State men's basketball team finished the regular season with a 25-6 record and a 13-5 mark in ACC play. The 13 conference wins was the most in school history.

With the regular season wrapped up, there is some clarity on where FSU will be seeded in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Nearly every major media outlet and bracketology expert has now tabbed the 'Noles as a No. 4 seed.

The latest projections are a far cry from what Joe Lunardi stated just a couple weeks ago. At that time, the ESPN bracketology guru declared that FSU would be a No. 6 seed, but was on the verge of being a No. 5 seed. Despite the fact that there really hasn't really been a marquee win since that time, even Lunardi now has the Seminoles in as a solid No. 4 seed.

While it looks like FSU's seeding is close to being a lock, where the Seminoles will begin the NCAA Tournament is up for debate. The three locations most consistently predicted are Hartford, Conn., San Jose, Calif., and Jacksonville.

Three different outlets -- ESPN, NBC and SBNation -- say that the 'Noles will begin next week's tournament in Hartford. That would be disappointing for fans that are hoping to catch FSU closer to home. At least Jerry Palm of CBS predicts that will happen in Jacksonville versus Liberty.

Next up for Florida State is the ACC tournament. The No. 4 seed Seminoles will face either Virginia Tech, Wake Forest or Miami this Thursday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
