Taylor Bol Bowen has announced he is entering the transfer portal, but he is considering a return to Florida State, the sophomore forward announced on Wednesday.
Bowen averaged 8.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in 2024-25. While he struggled down the stretch, Bowen was a key figure in FSU's upset win at Wake Forest in February and made a team-high 41.4 percent of his 3-point shots.
"I just want to evaluate all my options with a new coach coming in," Bowen told the Osceola. "Florida State will still be firmly in the mix. I just have to make sure I'm making the right decision.
Bowen is the first FSU player to announce he is entering the portal. His announcement comes a day after the Seminoles lost both of their high school signees, although Dwayne Wimbley Jr. indicated he planned a visit to FSU as part of reopening his recruiting process.
New FSU coach Luke Loucks is expected to hit the transfer portal heavily as he shapes the roster for the 2025-26 season.
