Scheduling snafu
Most fans are excited by the news (first reported by Warchant) that the 2018 season will kick off at home on a Monday night against what will probably be a ranked Virginia Tech team. However, some connected with the football program aren’t so excited because of the scheduling dilemma it has created.
Last Thursday, the ACC released dates for FSU’s non-conference games as follows:
2018 non-conference schedule
Sept. 8 Samford Home
Sept. 22 NIU Home
Nov. 10 Notre Dame Away
Nov. 24 Florida Home
Because Notre Dame is on next year’s schedule, FSU is extremely limited in how much flexibility it has. Originally, the hope was to put the Samford game between Notre Dame and Florida in November. However, .......
