LINEBACKERS (FSU EXPECTED TO TAKE 3)
The Skinny on FSU & LB Wesley Bissainthe
It continues to be a Florida State-UM battle for Miami Central star Wesley Bissainthe. Early on in this recruitment it was Miami with the edge because of assistant coach Travis Williams. But he took the DC job at UCF, and since then, things are now even or a slight edge for the 'Noles because of his relationship with FSU linebackers coach Chris Marve. Another important factor that gives FSU momentum in this one is the close bond he has with defensive staff member Sabbath Joseph, who previously was an assistant coach at Miami Central. Bissainthe plans to visit FSU soon.
The Skinny on FSU & LB Jaron Willis
There's a lot to like about FSU's chances with Jaron Willis. His dream school has long been Florida State, and many of his family members are fans of the 'Noles. In addition, FSU has a solid need at the linebacker position, and Willis is well aware of that situation. It's one of the reasons why the 'Noles might be the odds-on choice in this one. Florida and Georgia Tech are the biggest concerns for FSU, with the Yellow Jackets likely bigger than UF. Willis has visited both FSU and UF in recent weeks. Willis hasn't named a leader, however, and says he plans to really dive into the recruiting process when in-persons open up this summer.
