Florida State was starting to heat up on the recruiting trail last Friday when the 'Noles added commitments from LB Adonis Thomas and TE Tre McKitty. The news got even bigger tonight as five-star DE Josh Kaindoh announced he has committed to Florida State over Penn State, Alabama and others.

Kaindoh, who originally hails from Baltimore but stars now at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., is the nation's No. 1-rated weakside defensive end. Kaindoh previously was committed to Maryland before reopening his recruitment last month.

The 6-foot-5, 241-pounder took an official visit to Florida State for the Wake Forest game. He becomes the 16th commitment for FSU's Class of 2017, and he is the first five-star in the group.
