Under head coach D.J. Durkin the Terps have improved their secondary exponentially and now they have even more talent coming in. Former Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga star and Florida State transfer Marcus Lewis has committed to Maryland.
RIVALS' REACTION
Maryland can again thank defensive backs coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim for bringing in another major commitment. Lewis and Abdul-Rahim have a long-standing relationship going back to when the star recruiter was the head coach at Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy. The Terps signed five defensive backs in last year's recruiting class and already have four in this year's class. With the addition of Lewis, the future of Maryland's secondary looks very bright.
