With the NCAA expected to open up in-person recruiting this summer, things are about to heat up even more for Florida State football recruiting. And the Seminoles already have been extremely productive early in the 2022 cycle, with seven commitments and a class ranked in the top 10 nationally.
Continuing today, we will take a closer look at the top prospects on FSU's board at each position on offense and defense. We'll examine where the Seminoles stand with each, and which schools represent the main competition.
Today's installment focuses on the defensive tackles.

DEFENSIVE TACKLES (FSU EXPECTED TO TAKE 3-4)
The Skinny on FSU & DT Gabe Dindy
FSU's recruitment of Lakeland standout Gabe Dindy is picking up in a significant way. The Seminoles have been talking with Dindy very frequently, and there's a good chance he will take an official visit to FSU. And before you jump in and say, "FSU doesn't land kids from Lakeland High School," you need to know that Dindy is not a Lakeland kid. In fact, he's originally from Kinder, La., so he's more of a Louisiana kid. And as you might imagine, he has a pretty good connection with FSU recruiting coordinator David Johnson. He also has built a solid bond with DTs coach Odell Haggins.
Now, even though there is positive movement for FSU, there's also still work to do as Dindy's favorites have consistently been Oklahoma and Clemson. More so the Sooners as of late. That makes this visit to the FSU spring game quite important. It's a nice sign for FSU that he's coming for the game, but an even better sign that he's bringing his family on the visit. This is a chance for FSU to make a move in this race.
The Skinny on FSU & DT Kaleb Artis
Kaleb Artis is not a new name for FSU, as defensive coordinator Adam Fuller has been working on him for the past year. The change with this recruitment is that Artis has been showing a lot more active interest, calling Haggins and Fuller more often. Notre Dame and Rutgers have been teams mentioned a lot in this recruitment, along with FSU. Artis says he is going to take a visit in the late spring to FSU. He plans to bring his family with him on that trip, so it's clear the Noles are starting to make a little push here.
